The torsion testing machine is a device specially used to apply torque to the sample and determine the size of the torque. It has many types and different construction methods, but it is usually composed of two basic parts: load and force measurement. Now take NJ-100B torsion testing machine as an example to illustrate the structure and operating principle of torsion testing machine.
1. Operation process
1) Estimate the maximum torque required for the test, and select the required force indicating plate.
2) Choose suitable jaws and bushings according to the shape of the specimen holding end.
3) Install the pen and paper on the automatic plotter, and turn on the plotter switch.
4) Turn on the power and adjust the knob to make the pointer align with the zero point.
5) Device test piece. First pierce one end of the test piece into the fixed chuck and clamp it. Adjust the horizontal movement of the loading mechanism so that the other end of the test piece is inserted into the movable chuck and then clamped.
6) Load. Press the forward or reverse button on the loading switch according to the needs, and gradually adjust the variable speed potentiometer to make the DC motor roll and apply torque to the test piece.
7) After the test is completed, stop the machine immediately, remove the test piece, restore the machine and clean the site.
